**Support business units with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to drive informed decision-making and improve operational performance.**

**The Role**

As a Finance Business Partner at Centacare, you will play a key role in helping our leadership team make informed financial decisions. You will work closely with different business units, providing financial advice, reports, and insights that support their goals. Your role is not just about numbers - it’s about helping managers understand their budgets, plan for the future, and use financial data to improve services.

The key duties in this role will include:

- Prepare monthly reports with detailed analytics and commentary on the performance of business units.
- Identify and provide insights into key drivers of business unit performance using advanced modelling, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with and influence business unit leaders and Executive Managers to drive performance and support high-quality financial decision-making.
- Partner with business units to develop annual operating and capital budgets/forecasts.
- Assist in creating tenders and business cases, ensuring inputs, interdependencies, assumptions, and methodologies are accurate and effective.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial policies and processes, improving efficiency and data integrity.

**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant degree qualification in Finance, Business, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated 5-7 years of experience in Finance/Commercial roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the community services sector and its financial/commercial drivers.
- Experience with financial acquittals for Government-funded programs in a Not-for-Profit setting (preferred).
