Are you experienced in Investigations and stocktakes and looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?
As part of the Finance team, your role will be to identify assets (pallets, containers, crates) in the control/possession of clients or third parties, establish the identity of any equipment hirer and recover the assets not on hire. This role will be a hybrid role with field, office and work from home and reports directly to the National Asset Protection Manager.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify at risk accounts and proactively manage pallets, crates and containers to ensure ownership is retained by CHEP
- Investigate any third parties that have CHEP assets in their possession
- Use multiple data sources including SAP, internal reports, customer management system and external surveillance to proactively manage pallets, crates, containers to ensure customer accounts accurately reflect usage
- Complete onsite customer and trading partner audits / stocktakes and reconciliations of pallets, crates, containers
- Develop internal reports and metrics for internal management to enable tracking and visualisation of key metrics and data
- Analyse data and transaction to ensure they are authentic
- Ensure monthly targets are achieved and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal collection processes, systems and procedures
- Provide advice and direct recovery efforts in the support of a broader strategic initiative by CHEP
- Solid investigative, surveillance, customer facing or audit skills
- Solid multitasking skills
- Experience in dispute resolution and managing conflict
- The ability to quickly build rapport with customers and other stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a national team
- A highly motivated and proactive approach
- Strong data analytics and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a National team
- Ability to communicate on different levels with both customers and non-customers
- Investigation and intelligent gathering skills
- Networking skills both with internal and external customers
- Experience in stocktakes and/or audits and reconciliation
- Formal Investigation qualifications (desirable)
