Site Supervisor

**Position Overview**: As the Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the installation and management of network infrastructure in MDUs. You will ensure the seamless deployment of high-quality cabling and network systems, working closely with our field technicians and network engineers to meet project timelines and regulatory requirements. You must have a deep understanding of structured cabling systems and hold an **ACMA Open Cabling License**.

**About the role**

Your day to day duties will include cable rough-in, installing network infrastructure and fault finding, mostly in Brisbane and occasionally Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast. Ideally, you will come from an ISP or communications background.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead the installation of structured cabling systems in MDUs.
- Ensure all work is compliant with industry standards, including ACMA and local regulations.
- Coordinate and manage site surveys, technician teams, and project timelines.
- Oversee the deployment of 60GHz mmWave wireless backhaul links, WiFi 6 routers, and other backbone infrastructure.
- Perform quality checks on installed cabling and hardware to ensure proper configuration and performance.
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure optimal performance and network reliability.
- Ensure safety standards are met on all worksites, with proper documentation and adherence to OHS regulations.
- Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support to technicians and on-site teams.
- Communicate with project managers and clients to ensure clarity on project progress and any potential challenges.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **ACMA Open Cabling License** is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in cabling infrastructure for MDUs, including fiber optics, Ethernet (CAT5/6), and PoE setups.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless systems.
- Proven experience in site supervision, managing field teams, and ensuring project completion to high standards.
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment installation, including 60GHz mmWave and WiFi 6 technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.

**Preferred**:

- Previous experience working in MDUs or large-scale telecom infrastructure projects.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
