**THE ROLE**
The National Response Centre operates 24/7 and delivers a range of response services including fault and emergency call-handling and dispatch, employee safety monitoring, and crisis team mobilizations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop design concepts to meet the learning requirements in support of business initiatives
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the business to develop learning activities and assessments, write scripts and capture eLearning and facilitated content
- Provide advice and recommendations to training staff with regard to the integration of e-learning into courses
- Develop resources and provide training to support the effective use of e-learning
- Manage project tasks, coordinate SMEs, and deliver projects on time
- Transition of learning and records to LMS
- Maintain quality assurance processes and protect the intellectual property in e-learning materials developed for the NRC.
**ABOUT YOU**
Our ideal applicant has demonstrated experience in e-learning or instructional design so they can hit the ground running within this busy department.
**To be considered for the role you will have**:
- E-learning technology or instructional design and / or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training
- Demonstrated experience designing highly interactive, multimedia instructional content
- Able to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media and methods
- Capable of performing multiple roles on a project
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems
- Adaptable and self-managing, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
