IT Support Technician

1Tech Solution Management (1TSM) is a small MSP with a big impact. Since 2006, we have been providing business Information Technology management & consulting services, process improvement & digitisation, hardware + software plan / procure / deploy services, and desktop support for highly successful companies in the early learning industry. We operate with a strong emphasis on understanding business needs and supporting business functions through IT.

**The applicant**

Ideally, you will have some experience in the IT industry, are up for a challenge, and ready to learn more. 1 year or more relevant experience in a similar role is highly desired. Higher learning such as Certification III and IV in Information Technology are also highly desired.

We are looking for an IT professional with the following traits and attributes:

- Excellent general computing skills and knowledge,
- Can work independently or collaboratively, while managing their time and client needs,
- Shows initiative and responsibility for their work,
- Patience and tenacity to complete a range of different tasks to a very high standard. Attention to detail at all times is crucial.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral,
- Interested in creating a positive impact for clients and achieve success solving problems in an established business,
- Able to develop trust and positive working relationships with clients,
- Affinity for elegant, efficient, best-practise solutions over quick-fixes,
- Ability to keep confidentiality when working with sensitive or private information
- Maintain a very high level of professionalism and personal presentation.

This position combines elements of an IT technician, desktop support, and IT consultant into one role. The successful applicant will be required at times to work independently effectively, be self-motivated and use initiative, while directly reporting to collaborating with and supporting a senior consultant on tasks and projects.

**Skills and Experience**

Required knowledge and experience:

- Solid troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Wintel hardware / Microsoft Windows troubleshooting
- Assembly and setup of desktop PCs
- Supporting PC / Laptop hardware, including builds
- Supporting networks and WiFi, including network printers

Functional knowledge of:

- Microsoft 365 / AzureAD / Exchange Online
- TeamViewer / Remote Desktop
- Performing hardware & software deployments
- iOS / iPadOS operating system
