**About the Opportunity**

**In this Role**
- Overseeing the end-to-end coordination of ambient freight deliveries from Metcash suppliers to Metcash DCs.
- Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders within Metcash to optimise freight routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate timely and accurate freight documentation, identify and reconcile any errors, prepare bills and invoicing, manage KPIs, coordinate receipt and transition.
- Accurately documenting operations related to ambient freight shipments and provide regular reports on performance to find key areas of improvement.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with freight carriers and stakeholders, including supporting business development activities.

**You’re Likely a Match If**
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Experience in freight, logistics and/or supply chain, including best practice methodologies.
- Experience using transport management systems.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse and transportation management.
