An experienced Production Planner is required for a Caningvale based facility in order to organize production according to demand and quality standards.

**About the role**:

- Maintains updates and continually improves a master schedule of outstanding works orders to meet shipping date requirements via (SAP) as well as internal processes,
- Reviews routine production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates
- Analyses production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department/work-centre and operation Maintains and updates available work centre capacity availability and calendars.
- Plans the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to guide production workers
- Confers with factory leadership team members to determine status of specific orders
- Expedites operations that respond to unforeseen events and alters planning as required
- Liaises with Internal Sales Representatives, Product and Support personnel
- Process for manufactured & purchase products as well as outsourced activities.
- Maintains the manufactured parts master files in SAP, monitors BOM's/Routings for new and existing parts and costs parts in SAP.

**Required Experience/ Skills**:

- 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite (in particular MS Excel), SAP (in particular Graphical Planning, Work Centre maintenance and Capacity Evaluation).
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving and positive attitude to change and learning
- Analytical mindset for problem resolution
