Experienced Merchandise Planner required for a well-loved Australian footwear & fashion retailer. Perth based support office and flexible rosters available.

Our client is an iconic Australian footwear & fashion retailer who has been in the business of shoes for over 100 years with over 60 retail sites and a growing ecommerce presence. They are a family owned business who have continued to evolve, inspire and deliver every season with footwear that is on-trend, functional and comfortable for their loyal customers. Family values are at the heart of everything they do, with very high team tenure in both their support office and their stores.

With growth plans now in place, they are opening their doors for an additional Merchandise Planner to join their Product/Planning team in their head office based in WA. This report directly reports into the Planning Manager and you will collaborate with the product developers on a daily basis.

**The Role**:

- Work within the Product and Planning function
- Predict sales based on market knowledge and trends
- Analyse reports and provide regular updates to leadership team
- Maintain and control OTB, SOH, SIT for core lines
- Devise and implement merchandise plans
- Organise markdown cycles for sell through and pricing
- Range reviews with product team and seasonal projection planning
- Work with key stakeholders in the business eg supply chain, suppliers and finance

- Confident to work in a fast paced yet collaborate environment
- Solid understanding of financial metrics of sales, margin and stock turn
- Self motivated, with a positive attitude
