Regional Manager

As a** Regional Manager**, you will be based in **Morningside, QLD**, and report to the Business Manager. You will provide leadership of the employees under your control within the Victorian Refinish Team. You will increase sales and market share of PPG products and services following the agreed annual sales plan across all market segments under your responsibility.

**Responsibilities**
- Increase market share by working with the Territory managers to identify potential new customers and supplying the information to the Business development manager.
- Develop all business opportunities for PPG’s stable of Refinish products & services with existing and potential new Distribution opportunities.
- Manage and guide the use of the Vantage point system with the direct team to maintain existing end-user data and develop new business strategies.
- Monitor sales, comparing with relative forecasts and budgets and taking corrective action wherever required together with the State Manager.
- Develop sales growth plans together with Regional Distribution or Direct customers and looking for new opportunities for PPG Products and services.
- Coach, recognition, retention and daily responsibility of your direct reports following PPG policy and business strategies consistent with the relevant state Refinish business plan.
- Implement and ensure completion of agreed performance and learning plan (P&LP) including development needs with the State Business Manager.
- Improve the skillset and structural organisation of your team to meet changing market and customer need with the Business Manager Victoria.
- Implement performance management and succession planning where required with the State Business Manager.
- Monitor S&D account costs for each TM and taking corrective action or responsibility where required to align these to the agreed regional budget for each.
- Control costs related to end-user system wins, agreements and where applicable Capital investments.

**Qualifications**
- Trade qualification in the Refinish Industry is desirable.
- Sounds sales experience - ability to win new business and retain existing.
- 3+ years experience with competitor products an advantage
