As a **Territory Manager**, the fundamental purpose is to maximize the sales and profitability of PPG Architectural Coatings products in the retail sector such as Bunnings focusing arounds regions such as Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Gladstone, Maryborough, and Gympie. **Responsibilities**: EHS: - Maintain a safe work environment - Ensure all Injury / Incident reports are completed to standard to and reported Improve Shareholder value: - Achieve the sales, profit and growth targets for the Retail Territory - Negotiate space for new and promotional products - Implementing sales strategies to achieve both long - and short-term goals - Provide direction to lead the Retail plans and sales - GSV and inventory targets met following KPIs - Bunnings WSOH levels as set by business - Maintain and adjust min/max levels to suit seasonal selling patterns - Develop the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy - Professional delivery of marketing and promotion activity within the segment maximising revenue for PPG - Delivering professional product / system presentations to retail customers - Managing a portfolio of important retail accounts - Provide market intelligence / feedback on required new product development and product enhancements - Grow existing territory by identifying new and profitable business opportunities - Conduct business review with Ops Manager, Complex Manager or In Home Coordinator monthly Service, Quality and Compliance: - Conduct quarterly store audits and ensure planogram compliance - Merchandise and present PPG products following planogram - Set and maintain regular call cycle plans - to ensure maximum territory coverage - Develop working relationships with important retail corporate customers **REQUIREMENTS**: - Proven successful track record in territory management and product training - High-level negotiation skills - Computer literacy in MS Office suite - Excellent communication, presentation & planning skills. - Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry (preferred but not necessary) - Hold and maintain valid driver’s license - Ability to work autonomously and to travel within territory and eastern states. - Ability to work after hours or in peak selling times - minimum requirement of 12 weekends x 4 hours per year including Easter Saturday and weekends and some public holiday weekends following instruction from State Sales Manager **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
