Maeve Fox, located on Church Street Richmond, is seeking a full-time Assistant Venue Manager to join the team. Maeve Fox opened in 2009 and spans across 3 floors - the ground floor being a public bar with booth seating, and DJs every weekend, the basement floor houses a private function space called The Den, complete with our own in-built karaoke system, and our first floor function room which can hold up to 110 people and regularly hosts engagement parties, birthdays, corporate functions and more.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cocktail bartender or supervisor, wishing to take the next step in their hospitality career. You will join a team of hospitality professionals with decades of experience, and work alongside Maeve Fox’s Venue Manager, supporting and assisting in the venue’s day-to-day operations.

**About The Role**:

- Full-time, salaried position
- Learn the ropes of managing all aspects of the venue from FOH, BOH procedures, opening and closing procedures, cashing up, nightly reports, staff training and development.
- Assist Venue Manager with creation of 1 house cocktail menus per year, focusing on seasonal ingredients, new and unique spirits, and paying attention to Melbourne drink trends

**About You**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality, specifically within cocktail bartending and functions/events
- Victorian RSA qualified
- Excellent knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and cocktails
- Bubbly personality, strong communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, and the confidence to manage a team of casual staff members
- Strong passion for the industry, and the desire to develop your skills and knowledge of drink creation and management

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
