**The Department**
The Community Engagement & Partnerships Coordinator is part of SBS’s Community Engagement team, responsible for partnerships, sponsorships, projects, community events, activities and engagement for SBS’s many and diverse multicultural stakeholders.
**The Role**
The Community Engagement & Partnerships Coordinator is a crucial member of the team, and is responsible for all the coordination, administration, project support, and logístical requirements to ensure we deliver outstanding impact for our audiences, communities, partners and team.
- Coordination, administration and logístical support of all partnership, project, sponsorship and community engagement deliverables
- Managing and coordinating external partnerships
- Coordination of internal teams to support community engagement activities
- Writing letters, project briefs, meeting minutes and project reports
- Organising travel and diary management
- Occasionally, attending events and activations to provide support on site.

It is a requirement of this role that incumbents are fully vaccinated with an approved Covid-19 vaccination in line with the ATAGI guidelines which include booster shots. We do however have a medical exemption process and we would be

- Stakeholder and/or community engagement experience
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience working with multicultural communities desirable
- Exceptional organisational and coordination skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with precision at a fast pace
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Care deeply about Australian communities and celebrating cultural diversity
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- You might have a strong connection to community or experience working with diverse Australian communities
- Curious and thoughtful, enjoy being organised and can work with pace and precision even when juggling multiple priorities
