**The Role**
SBS have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Media Operations team. You will be joining a creative team of Editors to provide engaging content for our multi-platform broadcast environment for daily News and a range of program genres.
As a key part of the Technology, Operations and Services unit, you will be involved in providing technical and editing resources for News, Current Affairs, Sport, NITV, Documentary and General Entertainment production.
You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with:

- A personal desire to go above and beyond for your clients, finding efficient and creative ways to deliver on their needs with exceptional service.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of a professional editing environment, in particular television editing production facilities and operational procedures.
- Hands-on experience working with a range of editing platforms such as, Dalet One Cut and Adobe Editing Apps to an advanced level.
- Proven ability to provide creative and technical expertise in relation to television editing.
- Proven understanding of News editorial principals and cutting to broadcast critical News deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in particular the ability to communicate with influence when working with internal and external partners.
- The role operates around editing shifts as required.
