**The Role**
An opportunity for a talented and driven Journalist to produce finance stories and segments for SBS News. You will work with our Finance Editor and Small Business Secrets Senior Producer to cover stories that matter to audiences on finance, business and the economy.
Supported by a strong editorial team you will be able to find great talent and to produce finance stories and segments for SBS World News and for our On the Money broadcast, as well as working on individual stories across all our platforms, including radio and digital.
You’ll be part of a team which delivers cross platform stories of the highest editorial standards that highlight Australia’s multicultural nature and celebrate diversity.
**About You**
- Solid journalism experience, it is essential that you know how to produce a package.
- An ability to initiate and develop story ideas with case studies and build a strong contact base
- Knowledge of finance, business and other news relating to economics
- A passion for TV and digital news and understanding of SBS Radio
- Experience in filing for multiple platforms
- An understanding of the television production process
- An ability to cover breaking news
