
Hse System Implementation and Reporting Lead

The HSE Implementation and Reporting Lead will be responsible for understanding all aspects of our new system Enablon and facilitating its successful rollout across the global business. This role combines technical acumen with project management skills to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective implementation process.
**_Please note, this is a fixed term contract as an EDL employee until May 2025._**
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Gain a deep understanding of the new HSE Event Management and Reporting System, including it’s technical specifications, functionality, and integration capabilities.
- Reporting requirements - Global Report, ESG Reporting and other adhoc reports required for the business.
- Troubleshooting and adhoc requests relating to Event Management System.
- Work closely with the global HSE team, IT team and other key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, address concerns and facilitate a smooth adoption.
- Assistance and maintenance of Sharepoint, PowerBi and Pendo.
- Develop and foster a relationship with the Enablon vendor to manage expectations and roll out.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure they are well equipped to use the system effectively. Provide ongoing support and resources to address any issues that arise post-implementation.
- Monitor and report implementation progress, including tracking the achievement of project milestones and the resolution of any challenges. Analyze system performance post-implementation to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the rollout adheres to best practices in project management and system implementation. Stay across developments in HSE event management technology to suggest further enhancements.
- Deliver training to the business on the new Enablon System as required.
- Complete user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required.
**Person Specification**
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, an excellent communicator both oral and written with the ability to develop lasting relationships.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing global projects.
- Proven experience in implementing complex systems, preferably within HSE or a related area.
- Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn and understand new systems.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Positive attitude, with positive contribution to teamwork, and sound people and team development skills
- Be able to undertake tasks with mínimal instruction using effective time management and organisational skills.
- Multi-disciplined and ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, including management of conflicting priorities.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to write effective reports.
- Committed and motivated to achieving Company and team vision, goals and objectives.
- Ability to travel on assignments as required.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field desirable
- Bachelor or diploma in HSE or related field high desirable
- Substantial experience in developing and managing technical aspects of HSE management systems.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to HSE
- Previous experience in implementing and managing HSE software solutions.
- Appropriate leadership and supervisory experience
- Holds, or ability to obtain Australian National Police Clearance
