**Job Description**:
The Marketing Events Manager is a key role in the Marketing & Communications team, responsible for delivering an exceptional brand experience across the Group Life and Investments business calendar of activity.

Your role will be responsible for managing sponsorships, conferences, and other event deliverables supporting strategic communications objectives

You will be highly organised, proactive, and creative, with strong attention to detail and a knack for managing multiple priorities and stakeholders at all levels.

The role will be responsible for:

- Management of activity map for all events across GL&I, including regular engagement forums with key stakeholders eg. contact list owners and EA network
- Manage event delivery from start to finish including event attendance as required.
- Manage development of content as required for event communications and internal divisional communications
- Developing, socialising and maintaining all event process documentation for end-to-end event management for GL&I.
- Management of promotional merchandise, warehouse monitoring and reporting, co-ordinating print and distribution as required
- Manage individual and overall events budget including invoice processing, budget tracking, monthly accruals and reporting.
- Work collaboratively across stakeholder groups internally and externally such as Group partnerships, our EA network, Brand & Communications, Legal and Risk team members, as well as industry associations, graphic designers and agency partners.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- 3+ years’ experience in a corporate events management / marketing role with financial services, insurance or superannuation industry background preferably
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism (or other relevant field)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), familiar with Sharepoint as well as web analyst tools (Google Analytics or similar)
- Excellent B2B and B2B2C marketing and communications
- Highly organised and enjoy managing and influencing key stakeholders across the business
- Proven track record of managing events end to end
- Excellent communication, creative and presentation skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail (exceptional grammar and spelling are important)
- Enjoy working collaboratively while having the autonomy of ownership in your role.
