Marketing & Events Manager – NROL

The Role

As NROL continues to grow its national and international presence, we're seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to take ownership of our brand, partnerships, and key event initiatives.

This is a hands-on, creative, and strategic role for someone who thrives on building visibility, crafting compelling stories, and bringing events to life — from major sponsorships like the Women in Law Awards to smaller networking functions, roundtables, and podcasts.

You'll work closely with the CEO and our offshore marketing team to ensure consistent brand alignment, high-impact execution, and a polished presence across all channels.


Key Responsibilities

Events & Partnerships

Plan and manage NROL's sponsorship and participation in industry events (e.g. Women in Law Awards).

Coordinate logistics for events, from venue and supplier liaison to guest invitations and run sheets.

Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and partner relationships.

Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, sponsorships, and collaborations that elevate NROL's profile.

Marketing & Communications

Oversee NROL's brand presence across all marketing channels, ensuring tone and message consistency.

Manage podcast and video production schedules, including guest coordination, branding, and content rollout.

Collaborate with the offshore team on digital campaigns, graphics, and social media content.

Develop and execute marketing calendars for firm announcements, placements, events, and campaigns.

Craft compelling content for press releases, newsletters, and thought leadership initiatives.

Strategy & Reporting

Work directly with the CEO to develop strategic marketing plans aligned with NROL's growth objectives.

Track engagement metrics and campaign outcomes, presenting insights and recommendations.

Manage supplier relationships (designers, photographers, videographers, PR, etc.).


About You

You're a confident communicator, highly organised, and comfortable balancing creativity with commercial impact. You understand brand, tone, and storytelling — and you know how to turn great ideas into execution.

You'll bring:

3+ years' experience in marketing, events, or communications (professional services or recruitment ideal).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational and project management abilities.

Experience working with designers, photographers, and external agencies.

A polished presentation style and the ability to represent NROL at events and industry forums.
