**Engineering & Strategic Asset Manager**
- The Engineering & Strategic Asset Manager based in Sydney, is responsible for managing the delivery of Strategic Asset Management Services and Engineering Services across the Defence Fuels Network (DFN). This role and its team will provide critical decision making and strategic plans that will inform maintenance and capital programs for Defence’s fuel related Assets and therefore responsible for multiple service lines:
- The delivery of Strategic Asset Management Services
- The delivery of Engineering Services
- The delivery of Configuration Management Services

**Some key responsibilities will be**:

- Implement UGL’s Asset Management System to the DFN aligned to mandatory Defence systems and policies
- Develop, review and implement key management plans including the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), the Asset Management Plans (AMP’s) and the Asset Class plans that feed the Maintenance Management strategy
- Provide strategic input into the Annual Business Plan (ABP) cycle aligned to strategic transformation goals that ultimately drive annual maintenance strategies and re-capitalisation programs
- Manage, Coordinate and lead a team of Asset and Reliability Engineers
- Establish and foster a close working relationship with our Defence counterparts**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:

- Graduate Diploma in Asset Management, or equivalent
- 15+ years' leading Asset Management Strategies for Oil and Gas/petrochemical assets, plant and equipment
- Acute understanding and awareness of ISO 55000 standards
- Leadership of Asset Management team, and proven understanding of Asset Life Cycle modelling and Critical Asset management processes
- Recent experience implementing improvements to Process Safety, and implementing Reliability improvement initiatives with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in mind
- CAMA - Certified Asset Management Assessor
- CPAM - Certified Practitioner in Asset Management
