The Manager HR Governance and Policy, Employee Relations Unit is responsible for the provision of authoritative advice, leadership and support to senior management and clients of the Department on HR policy and delegations' issues.
You will work with limited supervision and lead a small, specialist team.
**Accountabilities include**: - Managing the TMR HR policy framework to support the efficient, effective and responsible management of human resources across the department. Leading a team in coordinating the development and review of policies and procedures within the TMR HR policy framework. Providing high level advice to senior management in relation to the development of strategic HR Governance & Policy initiatives. Building and sustaining partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders and negotiate outcomes to support the achievement of organisational objectives. Leading the continuous improvement of quality policy processes through working with operational areas to build policy capability and progress strategic issues. Maintaining the department's HR Management Delegations, including the provision of advice to HR delegates, managers and employees on the authorised delegated authority.
