**About the role**
We’re looking for an Experience Coordinator to join our team at _**Titanic. The Human Story**_, a story-driven history exhibit located in Dawes Point, Sydney.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the on-site operations of the exhibit, including customer experience, rostering, basic admin, inventory management, minor venue upkeep, vendor management and reporting.
If you have excellent communication, a keen eye for detail, strong organisational abilities and are comfortable managing a space, this is for you.
This role requires a flexible schedule, with availability on weekdays, weekends, and evenings, depending on session demand. Most of the work will be based onsite at the venue.
**About Titanic. The Human Story**
Titanic. The Human Story is far more than a display of historic items: it is a unique narrative experience, a tale of the people aboard history’s most legendary ship on its maiden and final journey. Travel back to 1912 through photographs, handwritten letters, wayward keepsakes, and other personal belongings while listening to survivor testimonies and countless stories about fates and heroic deeds on board.
**What you’ll do**
**Venue Coordination**
- Maintain the venue's condition through minor repairs and by identifying and reporting visual and storefront issues.
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe and ready to open each day.
- Liaise will contractors, vendors and other external teams to promptly address and resolve issues.
- Regularly monitor merchandise store operations and maintain strong inventory management procedures.
**Team & Business Support**
- Liaising with the Project Manager to ensure everything is running smoothly and providing recommendations for gaps in processes.
- Effectively managing event-related ordering and procurement while maintaining low operational expenses (OPEX and budgets) for general event operations.
- Developing knowledge share of building specific items including fixes, procedures, operations and best practices.
- Any other reasonable tasks as required by the Project Manager to ensure the smooth running of the experience.
- Supervision of staff and managing breaks. Liaising with the staffing agency about staffing needs.
- Ensure each staff member is trained in their duties, including ticketing, setting up and explanation of audio guide to guests, and maintenance of the merchandise store.
**Customer Experience**
- Ensure all guests have a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience.
- Respond to customer issues and think quickly to solve problems on the fly.
- Running and providing support on-site for any marketing, PR, corporate or VIP activities and experiences that take place in the venue.
**Who you are**
- You’ve worked in customer-facing roles (retail, hospitality, events, theme parks, etc.). Managerial or coordinator experience is a bonus.
- You’re organised and reliable, with a good eye for detail.
- You’re tech-comfortable (Google Sheets, Docs, scheduling tools).
- You’re solution-oriented — when problems arise, you step up.
- You’re happy working weekends and flexible hours — this is essential.
- You thrive working independently but also enjoy being part of a small team.
**LOCATION & DETAILS**
- Dawes Point, NSW (Onsite)
- Immediate Start - Full-Time Role (38-40hrs/week)
- Day, evening & weekend availability required.
