Pier One Sydney Harbour is offering $65,000 + Superannuation for this role

**Your Opportunity**
- Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures.
- Greets customers during the event phase and ensures the experience is set and ready to go before handing off to the Banquets operations.
- Uses own judgement to integrate current trends in event/wedding management and event/wedding design.
- Build good relationships with all departments within the hotel as well as those with clients.
- Communicate all client requests to the operational teams within the hotel effectively.
- Consult with the Executive Chef on menu variations and specific guest requirements.
- Quote, negotiate and contract a portfolio of catering and wedding events to ensure personal revenue.
- Coordinate all social and catering events.
- Conduct onsite inspections with confirmed clients.
- Primarily a Monday to Friday roster, additional days as required based on in house events & client relationships.
- Flexible working roster including weekends, public holidays and nights when required due to business demands
- Ensures correct & up to date forecasted event/group revenue is loaded in order to report accurately. Looks at options to upsell throughout the event planning process.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
