Planet Protector Packaging is an exciting and innovative, multi award winning, impact driven business and manufacturer of sustainable thermal packaging that does not harm the planet. Made from wool, WOOLPACK is a sustainable alternative to polystyrene. Our aim is to reduce the use of polystyrene within the cold chain industry.

With our Head Office in Silverwater, NSW and a second site in Auckland, NZ our future plans are to continue to educate the benefits of using WOOLPACK as a sustainable option to polystyrene, set up our own manufacturing site in Victoria and expand our geographical footprint into South East Asia. We have built a passionate team of cold chain industry professionals with backgrounds in the pharmaceutical**, **seafoodand FMCG industriesand are looking for a Quality Intern to join our ever expanding team.

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**
- Assist in the testing of our cold chain packaging solutions
- Ensure the quality of inbound materials and confirm correctness of orders to our customers
- Assist in training of our team to ensure the Quality Management System is maintained
- Conduct internal quality audits and understand the current QMS in regards to ISO 9001:2015 certification
- Support and meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality System, including authoring/editing controlled documents
- Continuously offer suggestions and improvements to processes
- Work with all department heads/management regarding improvement, suggestions, and/or prevention action for safety issues
- Responsible for all quality documents, records, etc. related to position
- You will be working at our Silverwater site, with an immediate start available

**Salary**: $68,698.99 - $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Silverwater, NSW 2128: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- ISO9001: 1 year (preferred)
