We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our dynamic and growing construction company. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office by managing day-to-day activities, supporting our team, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Essential criteria and skills:
- Diploma-level qualification
- Have excellent people management skills
- Strong leadership
- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage and priorities tasks
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- 1+ years of experience in a professional or corporate environment.
**Duties**:
- Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, file organisation, and inquiries
- Manage accounting tasks such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliation
- Liaise with management and staff to facilitate resolution of issues that arise
- Oversee health & safety policies and coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Coordinate travel arrangements for team members, coordinate training and personnel activities
- Manage office supplies, and maintenance requests, and ensure a clean and organised workspace
- Organise internal and client events
