**Diverseco is looking for an experienced and driven State Manager to lead and support our dedicated team at the Willetton, WA branch.**

The State Manager is responsible for leading the sales and service team to achieve growth and for managing operations throughout the state. Leadership and selling skills will be key in the achievement of sales and service targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all operations. Collaboration with a team of experienced professionals, including service technicians, operations staff and customer support representatives will assist the achievement of these operational outcomes.

**About the Role**
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market penetration, P&L management for the state operations.
- Drive exceptional leadership and mentoring of the sales, service and administration teams to continue positive culture within the state branch.
- Drive cost reduction activities in service, logistics, expenses, travel and materials.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, service technicians, and engineers so that productivity and output are maximised. Undertake annual reviews that drive development and performance. Manage overall team performance.
- Foster strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis and prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure that resourcing, equipment, processes and facilities are effectively utilised and continually improved.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements and collaborate on marketing strategy.
- Provide regular performance reports, sales forecasts, and market analysis to the senior management team.
- Provide leadership to ensure compliance with company policy, company values, WHS and ISO90001 standards and legislation.

**Essential Selection Criteria**:

- Degree Level Qualifications (minimum) in business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a State Manager or in a similar leadership role within an industrial environment.
- Project management qualifications and/or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent sales, negotiation and closing skills, including experience using CRM.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and achieving sales targets.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing / 5S / Six Sigma.
- Very Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
