As **Assistant State Manager** at **Goodlife Health Club**s, you'll work side-by-side with the State Manager to support the success of our WA club network. From coaching and developing Club Managers to embedding consistent operational standards, you'll help build capability at the club level and ensure our teams are set up to succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, people-focused leader who's passionate about operational excellence, performance optimisation, and helping others grow - while contributing to the ongoing success of one of Australia's most recognised fitness brands.

**Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Assist the State Manager in driving performance on key sales days and delivering lead generation initiatives across the state.
- Support the onboarding, development, and ongoing capability of Club Managers, Membership Managers, and Membership Support Consultants.
- Provide operational coverage during Club Manager leave periods.
- Lead targeted training sessions to improve sales performance and conversion metrics.
- Participate in quarterly PSV (club audit) processes to ensure operational excellence.
- Support in the successful completion of safety audits
- Assistant in the delivery of state key performance indicators across the club network

**What you'll bring**:
**Essential**
- Experience in an operations Management role managing medium to large sized teams
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage and forecast budgets/P&Ls
- Proven track record achieving financial results/KPIs in a customer centric multi-site business
- Managing large teams to achieve results and generating buy-in to company strategies
- Ability to influence key stakeholders, including Executive level
- Ability to inspire, coach, and develop talent
- Experience engaging and presenting to large groups

**Desirable**
- Bachelor of Business or other related tertiary degree
- Previous experience in the Health and Fitness Industry
