Cater Care is looking for an enthusiastic and committed State Operations Manager to lead operations for our Urban-based business across Western Australia

**About the role**:

- Leading and displaying our company values of Care, Pride and Community and continuing to propel a strong organisational culture
- Responsible for maximising the profitability of your portfolio’s operations through effective management of the services, delivery of positive customer and client outcomes, resources and people under your direct responsibility
- Achieving and maintaining strong & positive client, customer & staff relationships
- Developing strategic business plans for each operational sector within the portfolio along with driving suitable outcomes
- Developing your dedicated operational team and ensuring your teams ongoing skills and growth
- Retention of current business and the gaining of new business in each sector
- Systems process and continuous performance improvement
- Strong commercial management and leadership including budget development and strategies to improve business performance

**Essential skills**:

- Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in operations management and/or contract catering
- Tertiary qualifications in business management or hospitality management
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaborative working style, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with an empathetic and engaging leadership style
- An adaptive and constructive approach to work with the capability to work effectively and calmly under pressure

**Desirable**:

- Qualified Chef
- Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation and/or legislation
- Understanding of food safety legislation/HACCP
