We are a leading Australian family sewing and craft business with over 45 years in the industry. A great opportunity is available for a driven sales and customer service superstar for our furniture division based at our headquarters in Kings Park, NSW.

Our furniture division is growing and requires attention to take it to the next level This role is full-time 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

You will be responsible for all aspects of sales and customer service including:

- Answering phones for the furniture division
- Assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and providing solutions to problems.
- Managing and processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining relationships with clients through effective communication and trust-building.
- Monitoring stock levels
- Monitoring and managing items online
- Work with creative team to update and create furniture assembly instructions
- Travel and work on show stand at local and national trade events when required

Other requirements:

- Experience in sales and customers service
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills especially in excel
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-focused mindset
- Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, proactive approach to your work
- Flexible and willing to back-up and assist the team when needed

This role may require heavy lifting, operating a forklift and driving delivery van at times when staff require back-up or are on leave.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Director and provided training and support on a day-to-day basis.
