RGIT Australia is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated **Short Courses Trainer** to work in our Melbourne Campus.

**Courses**:

- Barista Trainer
- Coffee Art Trainer
- RSA Trainer
- First Aid Trainer
- Food Safety Level 1 & Level 2

**Position purpose**

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and professional Short Courses Trainer to support the organisation. The purpose of this role is to enhance the student's learning experience by delivering and assessing quality, compliant and engaging training that addresses the needs of the student and complies with RGIT's and various regulating bodies', policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Follow the course curriculum to deliver the respective course in an efficient and effective manner
- Delivers structured, flexible, relevant, and interesting training sessions and assists all learners regardless of the level to achieve their training goals
- Uses teaching and assessment strategies that are fair, valid, current, and sufficient
- Facilitates individual and group learning activities (whether online or face to face) to an agreed schedule.
- Provides one-on-one tuition and regular checks on learners ensuring regular progression and completions.
- Completes and maintains all training records accurately, documents assessment results and submits to the RTO for input into the LMS
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training and assess
- Monitor student activity and ensure they are provided with support for satisfactory course progress
- Contribute to the development of courses in a team environment to foster a culture that embraces continuous improvement and best practice

**Selection Criteria**

**To be considered for the First Aid Trainer position, applicants need to have following**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) minimum
- Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (HLTAID004) preferred
- At least three years' experience as a health professional, nurse or emergency services provider preferred
- Be able to demonstrate how they are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills as well as maintaining their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence

**To be considered for the RSA Trainer position applicants need to have the following**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
- Provide RSA Certificate (SITHFAB201)
- Be able to demonstrate how they are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills as well as maintaining their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence

**To be considered for the Food Safety Trainer position applicants need to have the following**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
- Food Safety Level 1 and 2 Certificates (SITXFSA101 and SITSA201)
- Be able to demonstrate how they are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills as well as maintaining their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence

**To be considered for the Barista/Coffee Art position applicants need to have the following**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
- Be able to demonstrate how they are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills as well as maintaining their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence
