The Opportunity

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares and maintains master site facility plans.
- Develops effective processes and leads cadence associated with facilities planning activities.
- Supports leadership within local facilities team to ensure business requirements are being addressed and prioritised accordingly.
- Pro-actively identifies and pursues opportunities to optimise space across the asset portfolio and effectively leads these space management initiatives
- Prepares business case analysis and leads the creation of long and short-range tactical plans.
- Works effectively within enterprise standards to identify processes and tools that will optimise facilities planning and management.
- Partners with other Enterprise planners, workforce planning teams and stakeholders to effectively analyse regional business scenarios to identify opportunities to develop ‘One Boeing' proposals and plans.
- Interacts with internal and external organizations, senior level management and/or government agencies to identify and assess impacts to the business operating plan.
- Develops solutions to complex project development and land use planning issues using extensive research, feasibility modelling and value engineering.
- Contributes to the development of new real estate and facilities project management processes, concepts, and practices.
- Provides programs and campaigns technical input and recommendations to support the continued development and adaptation of cost-effective facilities and asset management strategies.
- Participates in and supports complex capital projects to help manage business requirements and changes

Experience/Qualifications
- Relationship building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in similar roles with a minimum of 2 years' related experience.
- Comfortable developing proposals and business cases and communicating those to stakeholders and senior management.
- Comfort working with large amounts of data and translating those into recommendations
- Interest in developing and leading workplace optimisation initiatives.
- A formal qualification in Project Management, Construction or a related Engineering discipline highly regarded
- Experience operating within a complex matrix environment.
- High level skills with computer programs including MS Project, Visio, Excel and Word.
- Experience working in a Defence Security Environment highly desirable but not mandatory.
