Based in the heart of the CBD, Tattersall's Club has been one of Brisbane's premier private Clubs spanning generations. We are on a transformational journey and have begun creating the exciting next chapter of our storied history, with enhanced experiences underway for both our current Members and Members of tomorrow.
The Club boasts a first-class range of dining, event, social and leisure facilities in the heart of the CBD including the heritage Members' Bar and Dining Room; a Function Centre catering for up to 300 guests; Accommodation rooms; a fully equipped Health and Wellness Centre with 25 metre indoor heated swimming pool as well as a Business Centre and multiple workspaces for Members.
We have recently opened a new contemporary dining precinct within the Club to expand facilities further for Members and their guests, bringing a new vibrancy to our dining offering.

After a record-breaking years of events at the Tattersall's Club, we are looking for a driven and passionate Wedding and Events Planner to join our award-winning Events Team. The Wedding and Events Planner role is responsible for ensuring the success of Club events, functions and weddings, with the drive to exceed Member's expectations.
In this role you will plan, coordinate and execute Club events, functions and weddings; providing high-quality service to our Members and Guests. You will have a positive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and thrive in a customer-centric environment.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and specialised assistance with managing all events and wedding details throughout the lifecycle of the event
- Strong stakeholder management; ensuring all details for upcoming events and weddings are ready and in advance, providing the most up to date information for all departments; and prompt and professional responses to enquiries from all stakeholders
- Ability to best manage various bookings, focusing on strategic assignment of event space as to maximise utilisation
- Conferring with stakeholders and sending confirmation documents in connection with the bookings, providing ongoing assistance as required and creating a positive relationship
- Coordinate event and wedding requirements such as menu, beverages, running times, signage, table menus, place cards, theming when required
- Create a personalised experience for our Members from start to finish
Key Capabilities
- Emphasis on Customer Service, with a solutions-focused mentality.
- Effectively manage time and resources, whilst remaining calm, efficient and adaptable
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail.
- Exceptional personal presentation and interpersonal communication
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Essential Requirements
- 2 years experience in an event and/or wedding planner role
- Experience in providing administrative, event support
- Hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Working Hours Tuesday – Saturday 9am-5pm (Will be Monday to Friday based on weddings)
- Flexibility to attend meetings, host viewings, ceremonies and events at the Club as and when required (including weekends and outside of 9am-5pm)
