City of Parramatta Council is currently looking for a Social Media Officer who can use the full suite of social media tools, both paid and organic, to promote the organisation. As part of executing a holistic social media and digital marketing plan, you will use various analytics tools and platforms.

**About the role**

The Social Media Officer will support the administration of Council’s Social Media communication, campaigns and initiatives to grow and nurture social communities. This role will be responsible for executing Social Media strategy and ensuring that it adheres to Council’s brand, increases engagement for multiple audiences and achieves Council’s objectives. This role reports to the Social Media Advisor and is responsible for:

- Assisting with the development and management of campaigns and content using effective media to convey Council messages and build Council’s social media presence.
- Executing social media buy strategies to reach target audiences, manage communities, monitor content performance.
- Assisting in producing analytical reporting with actionable insights to improve content performance across all paid, owned and earned social media channels and respond to the needs of stakeholders
- Managing core social media platforms and external content developers to produce highly engaging and relevant content that aligns with digital product KPIs and strategic objectives.

**About You**

This role requires someone who possesses a high level of autonomy, ability to prioritise, attention to detail, team orientation, cross-functional collaboration, resilience, adaptability, and an ability to get the job done.

**What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $78,860.07 to $ 86,866.55 plus superannuation.
