We are seeking a new Yard Manager to lead our Dandenong yard and plant.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Leading the team in a safety first culture
- Plant and equipment control and scheduling across site
- Manage site and staff across shifts
- Coordinate transport of in and out transport
- Allocating work load and implementing production goals, objectives and procedures in line with established budgets and forecasts
- Working with various materials, recycling products and bulding materials.

- Safety First Leadership thinking
- Strong scheduling, coordination and planning skills to maintain optimum effectiveness of operations and logistics
- HR License & Dogging License
- Proven team leadership skills, to effectively manage a high performing team in a dynamic working environment
- Ability to build rapport, with a high customer service focus
- A self-motivated approach, you will enjoy influencing outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience driving safety initiatives
- Transport/Logistics or Customer Service experience preferred
- Use knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and continuous improvement techniques to maximise the effective processing of materials
- Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Equipped with good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills and able to pay attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of product, recycling sorting & processing techniques to international specifications (preferred).
