**About the role**:
We currently have an opportunity for an
**Operational Analyst **to join our team in the maritime domain. Nova Systems is proud to be a trusted partner across most of Australia’s major Maritime defence acquisition and sustainment projects, including the Collins-Class Submarine Sustainment, Nuclear Powered Submarine Task Force, Arafura-Class Offshore Patrol Vessel Acquisition, Regional Maintenance Provider - Northeast and others, offering our consultants the opportunity to gain diverse and highly desirable experience through both short
- and long-term secondments. This role will be based in
**Adelaide**.

**What you will be involved in**:

- Providing expert advice to the Operational Analysis Manager on scenarios and excursions to drive mission/support system performance measures
- Developing thorough and valid concepts of analysis for modelling through close liaison with operational experts and technical managers
- Building scenarios for Operational Analysis studies, post-analyses, and presenting results
- Capturing Operational Analysis studies’ concepts and results in documentation for record-keeping

**What we expect from you**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Australian Citizen with a Baseline security clearance (minimum)
- Experience in Defence operations or the Defence industry
- Experience in modelling and simulation (desirable)
