About the role
Be part of something new - Project Services is here Project Services is a new centralised function within Ventia's Telecommunications sector that unifies three specialist teams – Process, Systems & Governance; Subcontractor Enablement; and Land Access & Stakeholder Engagement – into a single, cohesive hub Project Services function is undergoing a transformational shift aimed at process standardisation, governance enhancement, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and team empowerment The Business Analyst is responsible for conducting detailed process analyses, documenting business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of optimised processes The Business analyst ensures operational effectiveness and alignment with Ventia's strategic objectives
What you'll be doing:
  • Conduct thorough analysis and mapping of existing business processes, accurately documenting current states.
  • Identify and analyse gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within existing processes.
  • Generate comprehensive reports highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance analytical processes, reporting efficiency, and data utilisation.

  • Support the development and execution of structured process improvement strategies utilizing methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including operational teams, project managers, and senior leaders.
About you
  • Significant experience in business analysis and improvement, transformation projects (Desirable)
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar (Desirable)
  • Certificate & familiarity with structured improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in relevant systems SAP, Maximo & Microsoft platforms
  • Proficient in business process mapping tools and techniques.
  • High-Level Communication & Negotiation Skills
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector (Desirable) and or similar infrastructure service sector
