- Must be available for Single Hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, and sleepovers, with additional hours available if willing to travel

**Responsibilities**:Support our participants in their homes and the community, enabling them to live their best lives and fulfill their goals and dreams. Provide personal care and household support at home and, when required, transport customers into the community for appointments and activities.

**Role Specifics**:

- Personal care tasks, including showering and dressing assistance, hygiene needs, and medication assistance
- Manual Handling (including hoist operation)
- Domestic support and household tasks
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Support with assistive technology
- Accompany participants to appointments and grocery shopping
- Follow and adhere to Positive Behaviour Support Plans for individuals
- Collaborate as part of a team and actively participate in team meetings

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Current First Aid Certificate (renewed every 3 years)
- Current CPR Certification (renewed annually)
- National Police Check (valid for less than 6 months) and/or Current NDIS Screening Check, or ability to obtain a Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card)
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS orientation Online Module (Free and Easy to obtain)
- Medication training (renewed annually)
- Infection control certification (renewed annually)

**Preferred but not Essential**:

- Manual handling training
- Industry experience will be highly regarded
- Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of employment
- Experience working with challenging behaviors
- Experience working with participants requiring manual handling and personal care

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $30.61 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- midazolam Certificate (Epilepsy Management) (preferred)
- NDIS worker screening check/ yellow card (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Infection Control Certification (preferred)

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Australian Driver License (required)
