Linq support is currently seeking a community Support worker who must be qualified or have previous experience

Tasks & Responsibilities
*community access.

*support participants in their day to day activities.

*support participants goals.
- making sure that all support delivered is in line with the individual support plan and there NDIS plan.

*Working in accordance with WHS procedures empty Spence rights policies including privacy and confidentiality. Monitor the safety and well-being of the participants to report observations and concerns.

Qualifications & experience
- certificate III or certificate IV in disability or equivalent.
- experience in the delivery of personal care individual support for people with mental health conditions or people presenting challenging or complex behaviours is viewed favorably.
- drivers license.
- CPR +first aid.
- Blue card with Yellowcard exemption/ NDIS worker screening check
- recent criminal history check.
- due to new government regulations must be fully vaccinated against covid-19
- must have certificate in midazolam Training (Epilepsy management)

Obligations and purpose of the role is to implement support services aimed at developing and maximizing independent living as Well as increasing social and recreational skills including community, and support for social inclusion.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- midazolam Certificate (Epilepsy Management) (preferred)
- NDIS worker screening check/ yellow card (preferred)
