**The opportunity**:
We are on the lookout for an Design Assistant to join our dynamic team Reporting directly to the Design Manager the Design Assistant is responsible for assisting the Design Manager in all aspects of the end to end process of designing a range. Starting with the creation of mood boards, colour palates through to style CADs, sourcing packs and material to support the sales team.

Efficient follow up on all strike off, lab dips and print submissions

Assist with additional design projects or administrative duties as required.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Able to research and translate design to suit our customer profile.
- Provide administrative support to the design manager in the creation of prints, technical CADS and garment specifications each season
- Creation of the technical packs for suppliers
- Assist in managing the day to day, correspondence with supply base regarding, colours, prints and any queries that arise
- Responsible for the management of marketing samples to support digital and seasonal campaigns
- Able to prioritise and efficiently manage multiple tasks within set deadlines

**The skills and experience you offer us**:

- A formal qualification in fashion design
- Understanding the target customer
- Must be proficient in Adobe illustrator, photoshop and basic knowledge in Microsoft tools.
- Knowledge in garment construction and specification
- Have an understanding of what is involved in the creation of a design tech pack
- Experience in creating technical flat drawing for CADS.
- Proven experience with offshore manufacturing process
- Effective communication skills
- Strong garment technical design skills and knowledge
- Proficient in all aspects of digital design function
- Able to prioritise and efficiently manage multiple tasks within set deadlines
