
Bookkeeper - Part Time

Miller Groundbreaking is a global provider of earthmoving attachments, with its headquarters in Cramlington, England. We are looking for a Office Administrator to join our growing business and take responsibility for the bookkeeping activities of our Miller Australia operation in Melbourne.
This will be a hands-on role with a small but growing team in Australia, but with the potential to progress in line with business growth. You will work closely with the operations team in Melbourne, as well as the Global business based in the UK.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Day to day ownership of financial activities for the business, including Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Processing of weekly payroll
- Cashflow management, reporting and forecasting
- Preparation of monthly accounts, including accruals prepayments and account reconciliations
- Working closely with operations to ensure accurate recording of costs and stock through the system
- Processing intercompany transactions and balance confirmations
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of financial accounts and tax returns
- Ensure system controls, business processes and procedures are followed
- Payroll responsibilities
- Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required
**Skills/Requirements**:
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but is not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
