THE ROLE
SCOPE
- Effective management and coordination of operations in accordance with contractual arrangements with the Department of Justice - Corrections Victoria,
- Achievement of budget targets, effective management of resources,
- Being a member of the PPP Executive Management Team,
- Involvement in other duties as directed by the General Manager
- Act in the role of General Manager PPP in periods of absence.

- Offender Management
- Monitoring and Assessment - Contractual Obligations
- Budgets
- Official Visitors
- Relationships / Compliance of Partner Contracts
- Performance Management
- Employee Relations

KEY OBJECTIVES
- Ensuring compliance to regulatory and internal processes, systems, policies and procedures
- Effective employee relations across all staff grades,
- Optimizing the staffing numbers required to manage the prison effectively,
- Ensuring all CO's are trained to the required level of expertise with current licenses.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience implementing and governing change.
- Experienced people leader skilled at developing others to meet both their career and the organisation's goals.
- Proven management of complex services operations and long-term commercial contracts with robust performance frameworks.
- Managing safety in high risk and unionised environments.
- Significant experience at a senior level in the Corrections or associated Industry.
