**Description**:
The Opportunity
As a Health Advisor, you will provide services primarily in relation to our safety, health and hygiene requirements inclusive of occupational monitoring, providing first aid medical treatments and medical emergency responses. You will also contribute and support Regis Resources’ Health & Safety (H&S) strategy and plan-on-a page objectives for the health, hygiene and medical portfolio.
This is a site based role, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster (ex Perth).
About the Role
- Provide medical treatments in consultation with the company doctor, if necessary
- Support site access requirements such as pre-employment medical reviews
- Provide medical transport, as required
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing
- Facilitate toolbox talks including health promotion topics
- Provide medical advice and treatments to the scope of practice trained
- Drive initiatives for health exposure reduction i.e. DPM committee
- Train the Emergency Response Team in medical scenario
- Undertake fit testing of employees
- Provide advice on injury management and help facilitate Return to Work Programs
- Assist with worker’s compensation claims.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in associated fields of health, hygiene and medical
- Certificate IV Health Care - Industrial Medic or similar (must include intubation and cannulation)
- Diploma of Paramedical Science or Registered Nurse with emergency department experience
- Injury Management & Rehabilitation certification or similar
- Ventilation Technician & Officer certification
- Basic principles of occupational hygiene course
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
- Current WA class C manual driver’s licence.
