Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

This is a permanent full-time role that involves providing advice and support to the supervisory team, workshop, and infield team on all aspects related to conducting activities in a safe and environmentally effective manner, compliant with all relevant legislation.
The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Advisor will play a key role in ensuring the safety of staff and the company's compliance with environmental regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing feedback on improvements to the induction process, leading investigations into accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses, and ensuring all reporting and incident investigations are completed within the safety management system.
The HSE Advisor will also provide support and assistance to the HSEQ Manager and the wider management team. This includes undertaking new employee inductions for regional-based staff, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and monitoring and reviewing compliance with legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum Occupational Health and Safety Certificate IV qualification and Senior First Aid Certificate. You will also need great written and verbal communication skills, experience with injury management coordination, implementation of HSE policies, and incident investigation, as well as conducting HSE site inspections and work practice reviews.
