About the School
Leyburn, a charming rural town in the Southern Downs, is just an hour southwest of Toowoomba. Leyburn State School serves students from Early Childhood to Year 6, with a current enrolment of 19 students.

About the Role
As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Uphold values-based, ethical and moral leadership.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Form partnerships with parents, agencies, community groups and stakeholders.
Be future-oriented and strategic.
Understand policies and legislation impacting the school.
Manage department resources to achieve goals.
