Training Lead - Finance System Implementation

Full-time | Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2026

We are now seeking a Training Lead to play a pivotal role in guiding and equipping our people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to embrace new ways of working.
You will be leading the design and delivery of high-quality training programs to support the transition to a new Finance system. You will ensure our teams are supported through go-live, adoption, and beyond into business-as-usual.
**As the Training Lead, you will**:
- Design, coordinate, schedule, and deliver engaging training programs across multiple sites.
- Develop training materials and aids including handbooks, visual guides, online tutorials, demonstration models, and supporting reference documentation.
- Partner with project, change, and business stakeholders to ensure training reflects system functionality, business processes, and compliance requirements.
- Build the confidence and capability of trainers and super users, embedding a sustainable blended learning approach aligned to the 70/20/10 model.
- Lead the full training lifecycle, from needs analysis, curriculum design and material development, through to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective evaluation of training outcomes and adapt programs to maximise impact.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support through system go-live and post-implementation transition.
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships and proactively engage with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Manage training activities within budget and in line with Uniting’s policies and guidelines.
- From January 2026, provide dotted-line guidance to a small team of trainers (who will formally report to the Change Management Lead) to ensure consistency, alignment, and quality across all training delivery.
**To be successful in this role, you will bring**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, Learning & Development, or Organisational Development.
- At least 5 years’ experience designing and delivering technical training solutions in complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end training projects, including strategy, design, delivery, and evaluation.
- Strong project management capability and experience in Human-Centred Design approaches.
- Proven expertise in adult learning methodology, with the ability to translate complex processes into accessible, engaging content.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across a large and diverse organisation.
**Desirable**:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or equivalent experience).
- Change management accreditation.
- Experience developing training for billing or finance system processes.
