- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Answering incoming calls from patients
Making outgoing calls to patients and/or their carer to communicate their results and warfarin dose instructions
Other discussions will relate to changes to medical history, and/or other medications; discussions with patient pre and post procedures, and hospital admissions
Accepting New patients registered into the Warfarin clinic and obtaining a full medical history from doctors and hospitals
Liaising with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and nursing facilities
General administration tasks and managing patient files

Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology

Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well within a team environment
Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
Able to analyse, consider, and solve problems
General office, computer, and administration skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
