With transformations being undertaken at the business to continue to grow as the leading contract and development company within Australia, they are seeking a high-performance worker to join the team to support the company’s nationwide and worldwide growth.

**Your new role**

As a Supply Chain Manager for this company, your responsibilities will include:

- Purchasing and supply of inventory, and ensuring implementation of all approved materials,
- Accountability and leadership for all price and contract negotiations regarding materials, equipment, and services sourcing.
- Building relationships with key supply vendors and logistics providers to lead and utilise supply continuity plans.
- Leading the supply chain and SAP B1 materials management processes.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement time sensitive strategies for continuous improvement.
- Developing an understanding of other functional areas such as Production, QA, QC, Client Relationship Management and Finance to understand their supply chain requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Ideally minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a GMP environment.
- A background in Science or a tertiary education is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong and effective communication skills to be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- A highly motivated self-starter with an ability to work well in a team and individually.
- Knowledge with IT and ERP systems.
- Experience in utilising and adapting complex ERP solutions used within a GMP environment.
