We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established privately owned food manufacturer who have been successfully operating for 20+ years across the ANZ region, in their search for a Supply Chain Manager.

Four years ago the business embarked upon a journey of growth by securing the signing of a high performing Managing Director to the business, who has since helped deliver outstanding YOY growth alongside the roll out of a new ERP system, the commissioning of a brand new state-of-the-art site in Melbourne’s South East, and the appointments of highly reputable senior leaders across different business functions.

In a bid to continue working towards a best-in-class operation, the company now seeks an outstanding Supply Chain Manager who is adept to managing complex operations within a high growth environment.

**Position Overview**: As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company’s supply chain operations. You will lead a dedicated team of over 10 direct reports, overseeing critical functions including Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, and Transport (3PL). This role reports directly to the Managing Director, and importantly, you will have their full support in driving positive and lasting change across the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including procurement, production, and sales, to meet customer demand and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for procurement, inventory management, and logistics to meet business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in supply chain management.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing terms.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-driven decision-making.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.
- Change management experience within a fast-growing FMCG environment is key; experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of inventory management, planning, logistics, and warehousing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
