We are looking for an experienced Digital Content Producer to join our team on a **3-month freelance or contract basis**. This role is based in Melbourne, requiring **2 days a week in our CBD office**. The main objective of this project is to create content for an engaging social media campaign that aligns with our growing brand. The role will involve adapting and adjusting content daily in response to test results, so the ability to work quickly and pivot creatively is essential. You will also collaborate with other teams, including our in house global design team, to ensure the content is aligned with our newly refreshed branding and marketing strategy.
**Content Creation**
- Develop short-form videos and animations for campaigns, focusing on lead generation and engagement initiatives.
- Edit and optimise video content for performance across digital platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok.
- Create compelling motion graphics and animations to enhance campaign messaging.
- Experiment with innovative visual techniques, styles and trends to create cutting-edge content that stands out in competitive markets.
- Collaborate with the team to storyboard and script content, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and audience preferences.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and strategic direction.
**Brand Alignment**
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Maintain visual consistency with existing brand guidelines across all content touchpoints.
- Provide creative direction and insight into refining the visual identity for campaigns, contributing to a cohesive and recognisable brand presence.
**Collaborative Ideation**
- Work closely with wider marketing teams, namely the design team, to interpret briefs and translate ideas into compelling visual content.
- Suggest innovative content ideas for social media campaigns.
- Brainstorm strategies to grow engagement and improve testing outcomes.
**Asset Management**
- Take ownership of the creative output, producing high-quality content with mínimal support on content creation.
- Manage a high volume of content production, ensuring quick turnaround times to support a test-and-learn approach in paid media campaigns.
- Monitor and manage the lifecycle of creative assets, from ideation to production and archiving, ensuring content remains relevant and effective for testing purposes.
**Who are you?**
- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in motion graphic design and/or videography, with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to independently create high-quality, engaging content across various platforms.
- Proven expertise in developing innovative motion graphics that elevate campaign messaging and resonate with target audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop) and animation software, showcasing the ability to handle design projects from concept to execution.
- Experience in leading end-to-end production of video and motion graphic assets, including storyboarding, editing and post-production.
- Strong understanding of platform-specific design and video requirements, ensuring that content is optimised for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of content production while maintaining quality
- In-depth knowledge of design trends, styles and innovative techniques to produce cutting-edge visual content.
