Being a global organisation managing 13,000 fleet and machinery, we need to ensure that all these machines are efficient and safe for use. The Equipment team is responsible for fleet acquisitions, fleet management, international maintenance and continuous improvement so that Toll can continue to provide service quality.

**Job Description**:
Toll Equipment are seeking a safety driven Workshop Manager to manage and oversee the workshop performance for our Kewdale workshop. Reporting to the Area Workshop Manager this role will be responsible for leading a team of high performing people, managing overall workshop performance, compliance, quality, and team culture.

Based in the Perth Metro area, this role will play a key part in driving a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, ensuring little equipment down time and high customer satisfaction. As the Workshop Manager, you will:

- Ensure personal and operational performance KPI's are met by establishing work systems to allow team members to work together and individually at a high level.
- Be responsible for inventory balance sheets, stock levels, cost recovery and maximising profitability.
- Anticipate customer needs and maintain effective communication to assist in vehicle downtime, and manage the customer liaison process.
- Comply with all HSE responsibilities, including Toll Group policies, legislative requirements and business management systems are adhered to.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Minimum 5+ years experience in a workshop environment
- Australian recognized trade qualification i.e Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic, Heavy Automotive Mechanic or equivalent or Operational Background
- A natural team player with the ability to communicate with people at various levels, internally and externally.
- The ability to inspire confidence, coach and manage others to meet Toll standards
