**JOB OVERVIEW**:
Work with team to optimise PR activity according to individual client requirements. The AC will assist all members of the company, which will require multi tasking and working to tight deadlines.
**EXPERIENCE**:
Educated to a uni-degree level with an interest to work in the PR industry essential.
- Flexible nature with a positive and pro-active attitude- Mature, confident and conscientious approach to the role- Ability to adapt to a business environment- Ability to work as part of a team within a small office environment- Lively personal approach to media, client and supplier relationships- Develop and maintain relationships at a personal level- 100% attention to detail
- Willingness to work over and above set office hours
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Be responsible for maintaining high standard of office tidiness- Maintain and manage stock deliveries and stockroom standards- Complete company post office and admin when required- Update and maintain media database- Manage courier deliveries in and out- Meet and greet company guests- Quantify client disbursement costs on monthly basis- Organise, update and maintain client folders & photography library- File papers and magazines on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
- Consume a variety of daily, trade and consumer media
**Reporting**
- Effectively manage workload with support of senior team- Attend and contribute to internal WIP meetings-
- Compile monthly clippings report- Begin to develop relationships with Clients
- Monitor competitor coverage for relevant brands and highlight things of interest with wider team
**Press Office**
- Maintain and manage media coverage- Complete mail outs / callouts / sendouts with senior team support- Begin to communicate with media regarding call outs and product requests quickly and efficiently- Log all media requests on press office- Co-ordinate sampling / giveaway requests with senior team guidance- Build and maintain media lists- Draft media releases and client copy for approval
- Understand the media and develop contacts
**Social Media**- Understanding of social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok- Knowledge to monitor the day-to-day running of accounts- Ability to create relevant and engaging social media content - written captions
**Other**:
- Support team organisation of media events- Complete media sell-in
- Attend agency brainstorms
**COMPANY**:
- Complete timesheets on a daily basis- Pass all invoices to accounts and follow project code system- Contribute to companies social media activities
- Adhere to personal KPI plan
**PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT**:
Beyond the regular duties and responsibilities outlined, Account Co-ordinators are also expected to:
- Have a thorough understanding of clients’ product/service offerings and the market in which they play- Should be continuing to further media knowledge (traditional and social)- Ensure they are up-to-date on relevant industry news/announcements and trends and how they impact clients and our business
- Take part in all company training initiatives (where relevant)
- Establish relationships with key media on behalf of SM and its client(s) - traditional and social media channels
