PR Account Director We're an award-winning boutique PR agency working with some of the most exciting brands across food and beverage, health & FMCG and consumer industries.
We specialise in strategic communications, impactful media relations and social media that delivers results.
As we enter an exciting new chapter of growth across a range of industries, we're on the hunt for a talented and highly experienced Account Director with a proven track record in a fast-paced agency environment.
You'll be a strategic thinker, have a strong PR background and leadership experience across diverse industries.
About the Role As Account Director, you'll lead a portfolio of clients, drive high-level strategy, and oversee the execution of PR and general marketing services.
You'll work with a passionate team, build strong media and client relationships, and play a key role in growing the agency.
What You'll Do Contribute to new business pitches and agency growth as we expand our core industries Foster and drive creative ideas for impactful campaigns and pitch those concepts to clients Lead client strategy, communication planning, and campaign execution Work with a small, talented team on elevating quality and attention-to-detail in client outputs and communication materials Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact Oversee media outreach, influencer partnerships, and content development Identify and implement processes to improve team efficiency Support public facing thought leadership for Papaya via industry commentary, Linked In and PR opportunities Manage client budgets and team overservice Ensure delivery of exceptional results and reporting across accounts What We're Looking For Minimum 6+ years PR experience, agency background essential A background across diverse industries including health & consumer brands would be highly regarded Proven ability to lead client accounts and mentor account managers General marketing and consumer activation experience Strong media relationships and understanding of the Australian media landscape Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills Commercially savvy and results-driven A passion for a sharp PR angle and tight copywriting A team work mentality · A nine day fortnight – 2 additional 'Fundays' off per month · Hybrid office / work from home 2 days per week · A team environment that fosters continuous improvement and values upskilling Ready to take your PR career to the next level?
